Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in El Salvador Q4 2024

The fourth quarter of 2024 saw significant activity among the top Maps and Navigation applications on the Android platform in El Salvador. Here’s a closer look at their performance.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads rising steadily from 8.2K at the start of October to an impressive 14.5K by the year’s end. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 173K to nearly 185K.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares showed a fluctuating pattern in downloads, peaking at around 11.4K in early December before settling at 8.4K at the quarter's close. Active users peaked at 80.7K mid-December but declined to approximately 70.2K by the end of the year.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 5.4K and reaching 8.7K mid-December. Active users also rose from 136K to a peak of 150K, ending December at 141K.

Phone Locator: Family Location had a varied download rate, peaking at 6.1K in late October, with active users reaching a high of 10.3K in December before declining slightly.

Finally, Phone Tracker and GPS Location faced a gradual decline in downloads from 3.6K to 1.7K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 7.2K and decreasing to 6K.
